When my husband and I decided to purchase a vacation home in Ocean City, New Jersey, we were fortunate to have Virginia Cannata of ReMax guide us through the process. Meeting at Open House led to Ocean City Purchase
A chance encounter at an open house with Ginny Cannata in the summer of 2008 set in place an unplanned real estate search for our family. We are real estate developers and professionals in Pennsylvania and were simply curious about the Ocean City market; Ginny offered to help us should we have any interest in pursuing a home purchase in Ocean City in the future. At first, she would kindly forward listings to us with the specifications we outlined, and patiently changed those specs every time something else occurred to us. During the one year process of fully committing to the idea of owning a property in Ocean City, our needs and our budget changed - but Ginny's availability, patience, empathy, constant assistance, market knowledge, consummate professionalism and cheery disposition never did!
Initially, we focused on finding a smaller four bedroom duplex near the ocean and Ginny spent many hours helping us pursue two specific homes unsuccessfully (luckily.) Ginny, with Tony always ready to assist if needed, listened to us and worked for us; she always had our best interest in mind and advised us when neither the property nor the deal would work for us. Her honesty, communication skills, sense of humor, and flexibility kept our real estate pursuit in perspective and we always looked forward to chatting or touring properties with Ginny.
We have a large family of eight, many pets, an enormous number of extended family and friends and Ginny encouraged us to consider a few larger properties if we wanted all of our expanded needs to be met. She knew all along what type of property we needed, and she patiently waited and guided us through the long process of eliminating properties that were not right for our family. We didn't set out to buy the perfect vacation home in Ocean City, but Ginny Cannata helped us do just that when we finally found our custom built, single family home on the bay. It is a polar opposite purchase than we had initially intended, but it is absolutely fantastic and she deserves credit for such a successful match of a family to a home.
A great deal of time and energy was expended by Ginny and Tony Cannata to complete our real estate contract and subsequent settlement in August 2009; they were genuinely as happy as we were after closing! Hopefully, our search is not typical of most buyers with its length and indecisive scope, but if Ginny could find us find the perfect home, then it is clear evidence that she can handle any set of circumstances a buyer or seller might present to her! We would recommend our agent, Ginny Cannata, to anyone who is even thinking about buying or selling real estate in Ocean City NJ in the future.
